As you already know, there are plenty of delay sprays on sale in the market nowaday. The author has roughly investigated various delay sprays on sale in the US market, and I found that it can be broadly divided into two categories: the delay sprays from East (China), and the delay sprays from West (U.S.A.). In today’s blog, I plan to make an interesting comparison between them.
Aspect of Ingredient and Effectiveness
The main difference between western and eastern delay sprays is ingredient! And it is the ingredient that determines the effectiveness.
Specifically, the western delay sprays mainly use artificial anesthetics as the active ingredient, for instance, lidocaine and benzocaine are the most commonly used, the concentration is usually between 7% and 13%. On the other hand, the eastern delay sprays mainly use pure natural extracts, for instance, epimedium, cistanche, zanthoxylum and so on, the anesthetic effect is produced by the natural ingredients contained in those plants.
You may ask: which one is better? No answer, it depends on what effect you want to achieve. In terms of anesthesia efficiency, artificial anesthetics are significantly higher than pure natural extracts, there’s nothing strange about this. It means that in order to achieve the same anesthetic effect, the dosage of the eastern sprays needs more. But never think that the deeper the level of anesthesia, the better. Because the deeper the anesthesia, the shallower the pleasure during sexual intercourse. That would lose the meaning of sexual intercourse, right? We need to find a good balance between anesthesia and pleasure.
In addition, long-term use of products containing anesthetics is generally considered harmful to health. Delay spray belongs to this kind of products, so we should not ignore this point.
Author’s Suggestion
The author’s premature ejaculation is not very serious. After experiencing these two categories of sprays in practice, I prefer the eastern sprays. Because I feel that the eastern sprays have a more mild anesthetic effect and can maintain more pleasure. But the western sprays can really make me more durable. According to incomplete statistics, the western sprays can delay 30 minutes to several hours, and the eastern sprays can delay 20 minutes to one hour. So my personal suggestion is that if your premature ejaculation is very serious, you should use the western sprays, otherwise use the eastern ones.
Aspect of Absorption Rate
All sprays, after being sprayed on your skin, need to wait for a period of time for the skin to absorb. Most users hope that this time can be faster. But there are also some users who engage in foreplay during the waiting time and are not in a hurry.
In this respect, the western sprays have obvious advantage. They contain some chemical ingredients, which can accelerate the absorption of the skin. Generally speaking, the western sprays can be fully absorbed by waiting for 5 to 15 minutes after use.
On the other hand, the eastern sprays lack the chemical ingredients that accelerate absorption, resulting in slow absorption, which usually takes 10 to 30 minutes to fully absorb. However, there are some new products on the market, which added a little chemical ingredient to the natural ingredients to speed up skin absorption. Maybe this is the future development direction of delay spray: Most natural ingredients + a few chemical ingredients.
Aspect of Net Content
According to the author’s own statistics, the net content of the western delay sprays on the market is generally from 2.6ml to 60ml, while that of the eastern delay sprays is generally from 5ml to 12ml. You can see that the net content of the western sprays varies greatly. In other words, there is a big gap between the cost performance of different sprays.
Specifically, at one extreme, Promescent is expensive (typically $20+) and has a small capacity (2.6ml), although it is truly effective, its cost performance is not very high. So I think it is suitable for high-end user groups. At the other extreme, TROJAN is cheap (typically $12.5) and has a large capacity (60ml), although it is not very effective. So I think it is only suitable for users with mild premature ejaculation (or even no premature ejaculation problem at all).
On the other hand, the eastern sprays are usually divided into two specifications: small bottle and large bottle. Typically, 5ml for small bottle and 10ml~12ml for large bottle. The latter is usually more than 50% more expensive than the former.
Aspect of Packaging
The author always believes that packaging is an important indicator for measuring the overall quality of a product. In this respect, the western sprays are obviously better than the eastern sprays. Personally, my favorite packaging is Promescent. Its packaging is very exquisite, giving people a high-end feeling.
Unfortunately, the packaging of many eastern sprays are very simple, and even occasionally leaks liquid. However, there are also a few eastern sprays that I think have excellent packaging, such as Baycam, KINGFYNA, and LEEXON.
Aspect of Price
According to the author’s observation, for low-end sprays, there is not much price difference between the West and the East, both around $10. But there is a significant price difference for high-end sprays: the western sprays generally exceed $20 or even $30, and there are very few sprays from the East that exceed $20.
Of course, the market is changing rapidly. I recently found that several new eastern sprays are also trying to sell at a high price (above $20).
Summary
Let’s summarize the difference between West and East sprays in the form of a table:
